The UK hydropower sector is entering its most significant period of investment for more than forty years. Following the successful progression of three Pumped Storage Hydropower schemes through Window 1 of the Cap & Floor process, alongside major tidal and refurbishment programmes, the sector is moving rapidly from policy and development into delivery.
Over the coming decade these projects will require billions of pounds of investment across civil engineering, mechanical and electrical engineering, tunnelling, construction, environmental services, manufacturing, digital systems, logistics and specialist technical services.
The British Hydropower Association is convening this event to bring together project developers, Tier 1 contractors and the wider UK supply chain to help businesses understand where opportunities will arise and how they can position themselves to participate.
